    “Suggestion seamaster restoration”
    I can not find my that post.
    Today I’m going to share the job done to the case, gold capped refurbishment. Condition very youth.
    This week I will turn to back the movement part from service shop, after big cleaning all part. Test and checking.
    New seloloid, new crown.

    My sister she doing the gold and Jewelry hand made, she made this case for me, thank a lot my sister

    It looks really beautiful! I cant wait for one of the lurkers to jump in and start talking about how "overly polished" it looks LOL. Ignore them, its great! And if she is willing, share your sisters contact info, there are many people here who would like to get results like that!

    You mean there are people here who want the gold stripped completely off their gold capped cases? Why didn't they just buy a stainless version of the same watch?

    I hope that's the case (pun intended). The pictures aren't conclusive though - the color is off.

    It seems like there are those who would look at this in horror because its not beaten to death and looking like garbage (in the name of absolute authenticity). To be clear, this case is magnificent. Im waiting for the opposing view to read me the riot act for thinking the way that I do.

    I could believe a fresh layer of gold plating, and poor lighting making the gold look like stainless in most shots.
