Can you give me your advice on this? Let's say the time is 2:59:30, so it is just before 3 o'clock. The problem is the minute hand on my watch will already be slightly past 12, and the hour hand will be slightly past 3. So basically both hands are slightly fast. Is this something to worry about? I just got the watch serviced.
Try resetting the hands to the correct time and see what happens over the next 24 hours. If the same thing happens again it means your watch is running a bit fast.
Get the second hand moved back 30 seconds. When setting hands I try to make sure the watch is stopped and the hour hand (fitted loose) is wound through a date change to midday. I then set the hour hand, then the minute hand exactly over the 12 and the same with the seconds hand.
It's just a remark from one of our members who has seen too many "grab and run" posters. Great, we would all like to see the problem and a picture is worth a thousdndssgd words.
Need to come up and warm those knuckles up in the sun up my way @JimInOz, chatting to a mate that's up soon said it was 10 in St Kilda last night
10? That's nearly tropical, it was 5.1 just after midnight here. I can feel the grey nomad genes kickin' in mate, as soon as Ms A finishes next year we are on the road!
