One of the nicest examples in 18k pink gold. The dial has no discoloration or patina, just perfection.
My pictures do not do this watch justice. Dial is original, signed Swiss at the 6 o'clock position.
Note the hallmark on the side of the case. Aero-Compax.jpg Aero-Compax Swiss.jpg IMG_3074.JPG

Amazing stuff!!! And UBER RARE! Congrats! Aero Compax in gold are really rare and in such conditions they are real grails.
What's the case dimensions? 35, 36 or 37 (excluding crown)?

Agree ... this is a safe queen ... just stunning. I’m sure this is selling at a princely figure. Personally if this was mine I’d have a hard time saying goodby.

Watch measures 36.5 mm without the crowns. The Aero-Compax reference 12540 is listed in Sala's book on Universal Geneve as 37 mm.

...this is perfect. I have the same watch, with a slightly different dial and with more aging.
One of the most fascinating watches evder made, IMHO.

Was looking for something else and found some pics of another 13540. The example was sold (unfortunately not to me) at a local Dutch auction. Dial is ok I think. Hands are not. Crown replaced.
