Dear Forum, Please shed some light on these pictures below. I am trying to source a flat foot crown ( in fact two- for a '66 Speedmaster, and a '62 Seamaster). Though the logo seems all good, this one offered has dimensions too large for a Speedmaster ( greater than 3.8mm) and a stem size of 0.9mm ( suited more for a Seamaster). Also some detail (overlapping of the metal) is missing on the underside of the crown around the tube setting, as viewed on vintage examples. Authentic Vintage 321 crown or aftermarket? If this is a after market example, what value should I attribute to it and should I bother fitting it to my vintage pieces? Thank you.
This is an aftermarket piece. Is this FS post for selling it? If you're considering buying this crown/want advice you probably want the thread to be moved to the "Vintage Omega" section of the forum.
