Good day gentlemen. Would like to ask for your opinions about this watch someone is selling to me.

Here we go again. Seller states it's from 1962.

He doesn't have a reference number shot at the moment. I will wait for that too before I decide. In the meantime, what do you fellas think about it? Thanks!

I have gone thru the readings. Dial looks good. But what do you guys have to say about the seemingly different states of discoloration of the rotor, the bridge and the rest of the visible movement?

I guess it'a 14902. Rotor has been changed because there was too much play in in. You still can see the heavy rubbing mark on the bridge.

I also think the ref should be 14902. Rotor replaced is better than the old worn out one. The crown is new and too big though. It would either be loose, not holding tight to the pendant tube, or the tube has been changed to the bigger size - this would be problematic for finding correct crown replacement in the future.
