Hi all,

Just found a watch I bought 18 years ago in Singapore, it’s an Omega chronograph 145.018 - I’ve had it checked it’s genuine, I just need to get it cleaned / serviced - it’s the 1968 (Mexico olympics?) colour set on grey, I think it’s quite rare but no idea of resale value, any help most welcomed please? Cheers folks

From your avatar I take it you are in London (not the one in Ontario...) I have not needed to use any of these myself but there are three standard suggestions in the UK, all with the necessary Omega parts account.

DO NOT take it to Omega! And make sure your instructions on preserving originality are received and understood.

I love this size! a”After wearing 32-36’s for the last month, strapping on my SMP or GMt was like wearing and hall clock. I have a Tag Carrera that sits in my drawer sadly because it’s just too thick and big. I would trade that for this any day of the week.

 

Just imagine if It had “Rolex” on the dial as in Daytona!
