Lots of good advice here and I echo Spruce - late 60's Geneves with 6xx series movements are very reasonable points of entry. Collectors don't flock to these and you should find one in very good condition at the price point you are shopping.

It鈥檚 likely the cheaper option is the real deal. Of the two, that listing is the only one with an actual description and comes from a store with far more feedback. If you bought the more expensive option, that store would then buy the cheaper listing and ship it to you once they receive it. All while keeping the change as profit for their effort. This is somewhat common in sales originating from Japan.

Edit to add: if you come across this, you can always reach out to the store to ask for more pics or to see something specific. Based on their responses, you鈥檒l quickly get an idea of who actually has it.

There are many watches that are only available in Japan, via Yahoo Auctions Japan. Several ebay sellers list watches which they don't own, but are available in Japan. These ebay listings are at a much higher price, and the sellers are plan to buy the watch off Yahoo for a much lower price after they sell on ebay. It is a very sketchy practice, but can be easily avoided by not buying grossly overpriced watches on ebay. Closer0924 is a legitmate seller that sells watches on Yahoo Auctions and Ebay, the other seller is sketchy. You can by from Yahoo Auctions using a buying service like https://buyee.jp/

As others have said this particular watch is not a great example.
