So, in my quest for a Seamaster I've just stumbled on this. Is it worth it? Asking price is usd300.

Meh. Not a bad price, but it's not a watch that's spectacular as far as I can tell from those pictures. If the dial is cleaner than those pictures let on, it's worth it.

 

Thanks for the input, Dennis. The thing is that it is nearly impossible to find a not-incredibly-messed-up-with Seamaster in Brazil, it might be a good deal...
