Hi, I am looking at this watch. The dealer is reputable so I am not worried but it not being genuine.

Is there anything that anyone can pic up that is wrong with this watch. Has it been over-polished? The bracelet looks a bit crap but I think all of the gold bracelets for this model are not tight.

It looks like it has 22 links. Should it have 24 links?

Is the crystal saphire on this model. it is dated 1987. I should have a quck date function.

I would love a critique of what is not acceptable with the watch. I understand it is not a nipple dial version. Does the black dial mpre desirable than the brown?

As you pointed out, the bracelet is pretty loose. That can be fixed, but you should factor that into the purchase price. It should have a sapphire crystal. My preference is brown but if you don’t really use a GMT hand you’ll have a lot more available options for all gold submariners and you can get blue face as well

I actually have a blue submariner circa 1991. I came across this model and thought I would ask for peoples opinion. I inspected the watch in person. The bracelet is not loose from wear. It is an older style jubilee bracelet. I think this is how they wear. I could be wrong.
