Dear all, Good afternoon. I kindly ask your opinion on this Seamaster 120, an old model I am watching and looking for: http://www.ebay.it/itm/Omega-Seamaster-120-m-/121127319170?pt=Orologi_da_Polso&hash=item1c33c03682Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network I think I'd better to ask further pictures to the seller, but he states that all the parts are original. May I ask your help, please? Marco
Thanks indeed Shaun. I just wrote him asking for further pics and I am trying to understand which model is this.. Maybe 31 mm would be too little for my frist. Just to say, I wear a 42 mm Speedmaster Professional and I'm quite used to watches of such dimensions.
Looks nice, but I think the 31mm version is the lady's version. http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog.html?action=load&lotid=334&auctionid=235 Isn't there a 37-38 mm version for men? 31 mm is small... like 1930's small. Maybe for a boy?
Well, this guy seems to have thought it was a men's model. http://www.seamasterplanetocean.org/omega-seamaster-120
Thanks indeed - in effect this would be quite too little for my wrist. I think I should continue looking for the larger version.
Quite a deliberate sales tactic if you ask me, reasonably low BIN to entice the unwary bargain hunter into buying what will turn into a surprise present for wife/girlfriend/child. This is definitely the ladies version, I've never seen it described in any Omega literature as unisex.
Here is how a full size, 37-mm version stacks up next to a typical 50s/60s Seamaster. They're not large watches and the 31-mm is indeed a woman's watch.
