Wondering if this is original. I tried comparing the pictures against the essay that was referenced in other posts, but I don't have the experience to tell. Looks beat up but thinking about buying it at this price and replacing crystal.

 

How can you tell anything with the crystal that beat-up?

 

Even with the crystal that beat-up, I think it's a horrible re-dial.

 

Be best to assume that it is. And the rotor bearings look to be stuffed, as well.

 

Avoid!

 

I like buying watches with dodgy photos and scuffed crystals - but I'm absolutely certain if you got that crystal off the dial would look like it had been done in crayon. By a badger.
