    Hi,
Just joined forum and received my first vintage purchase, can anyone offer advice, looks to have gold hands but silver hr markers, any help eould be appreciated.

Advised it is 1962-1966 613 movement, but would appreciate thoughts on authenticity?

    Cheers John 14483911730471963646153.jpg 1448391199648711920229.jpg 1448391246419-221651512.jpg

The hands were most likely changed at some point. The good news is that correct steel coloured hands are available.

Get one of these and take the caseback off

There will be six digits on the inside of the caseback denoting the model number. Google Omega XXX.XXX to learn all about your watch!

Hey thanks very much for the reply, excuse my ignorance but would I not use a watch wrench to remove case back?

You certainly can use a wrench if you want to. I always try the ball first because there is no danger of slipping and damaging the caseback.

Identical to my reference 136.011 but mine has a cal. 611 inside and has 600 on dial. Serial number
    dates mine to ~ 1964.

My watch has silver hands and dial furniture. Hands and hour markers should match...probably replaced hands on yours. However the hour and minute hands style looks correct, should just be silver/steel though. But second hand looks wrong.
