    Hi all,
New to the market of vintage watches and have been looking around for an Omega Seamster De Ville from the 60s. I found this one on e-Bay, but don't feel confident bidding as I have heard a lot about fakes going around.

Would you generally trust highly rated sellers on e-Bay - and what can you say about the authenticity based on the pictures?
    Thanks in advance!

Genuine but with a refinished dial which is undesirable, overpriced considering the dial and "restored" aspect of the rest of the watch.

All original is best and most desirable.

This seller seems fair, he has accurately represented the watch with professionally refinished dial and offers 14 return

Most collectors prefer original rather than refinished dial
