In the first picture, the spring bar is sticking out past the bottom left lug hole. Probably very polished. Pass.

Not necessarily, could be the size of the pin too.

Case is soft, proper vintage polish will help. Crown guards look weak Dial & hands look very nice. One aftermarket link 455b on bracelet. May be a good everyday wear watch, if you want a collectors piece keep looking & price will be much higher.
And you should have good clear scans of serial and model numbers to compare as well.

It was bought to my attention that the seconds hand is a replacement and doesn't match the other two. What do you think?

It’s so hard to tell. Light can play tricks. Need pics in daylight to make sure.

It looks slightly lighter, you could easily get it colour matched along with the pip. However, it seems like you are looking for perfection in which case maybe you should let someone else enjoy this one.

An immaculate 5513 would be considerably more expensive and harder to wear everyday. As an everyday wearer this one is really nice.

Not at all. I might've undestood incorrectly but it doesn't have to do with the hue difference. In most cases the hands and the indexes develop different patina. My understanding is that the second hand would be from another reference/set of hands?

Dunno. Just trying to learn.

The seconds hand is correct. I'm surprised someone else hasn't bought it by now, a watch like this is very easy to sell.

Might be the correct part but it certainly isn't part of the original handset. I've never seen one hand take on a different tint of patina than the rest of a handset on any vintage Rolex.

To me, a hand set should at least match one another in patina. This set would be a major annoyance, especially after spending that much cash.

The 455B end link is a fake. The middle of the link should be gold: 455Bs belong on two-tone Jubilee bracelets sold with 36mm Datejusts and absolutely do not belong on a stainless Sub. The 455B stamping is very common on fake bracelets.

With so many small issues raised, I’d be cautious. The fact that very simple things like an end link are wrong and haven’t been replaced with correct end links would concern me about more complex and not so easy to solve issues. Yes yhe price is good. But I’d tread very carefully
