hi there I'm a newbie here ... I hope this is proper place for this question ... Looking at kijiji and found a couple where it's newish (1-2) years warranty left, papers , warranty card with watch and sellers willing to meet at omega service centre to verify. I know a lot of people say this type of purchase on kijiji is risky ... But can anyone suggest anything on top of getting it verified at omega or jeweller to minimize risks?

    Thanks

First of all welcome to the Omega Forum (OF) @Kmanchu

I really have no idea specifically in terms of kijiji...

For any online watch purchase I would suggest you post some pictures here in the forum of the specific advert for some of the more experienced members to offer some initial advice/input. There are some very good quality Rolex/Omega replicas being made today and as you probably know, there is no such thing as a free lunch. If the advert pricing is much lower than equivalent pricing on jomashop or chrono24, beware.

Edited: BTW @meganfox17 rocks and wants you to post some pictures:)

What's a kijiji? Does it have a creamy filling or glaze topping?

Miss Fox is saying "no pictures = no help". No link either? Damn Fumanchewie, that's a bad first post!

Ahhh, gotcha - thanks. Making an internet garage sale site sound like a foreign pastry isn't a good business model, but what do I know?
