Can someone help make my life a bit easier and tell me the size of the crystal retention ring required for the '53 ? Don't intend replacing the crystal just the ring. Cousins UK a possible source?
Now you know where I am from Seriously, I would be purchasing crystal/ring but the existing crystal has a pretty good lived in look which I like. The crystal ring is pretty grotty so that is all I want to change.
Well buy the new crystal with ring and use that ring or install new crystal with ring and scratch it up a bit! Seriously though it will look odd to have a shiny new retaining ring with a scratched up crystal. Either keep as is or replace both.
