Advice on ladies jubilee bracelet

I'm in the UK and looking for a replacement steel/gold jubilee for a ladies datejust, my daughter's watch. She wants a direct replacement so a strap or generic bracelet isn't on the cards I'm afraid.
She's been quoted £1500 to £2000 for a new replacement.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Is the one on the watch broken or too stretched? As a consideration, you can send to Michael Young for restoration and would only run you a couple hundred dollars..

He is at classicwatchrepair.com

The link is to different Rolex datejust models but you are asking "how to choose a good quality bracelet?"

Can you clarify?

Yes it is..

My suggestions is to acquire a second hand bracelet from someone who can eye up a quality bracelet for much less. No reason to pay full boat from Rolex when the two tones have the unstoppable ability to stretch over time. I go to a wholesaler event 4 times a year that's relatively exclusive. Would be happy to price out a few examples for cost... let me know

Best,

Thomas
