Hi

i would kindly ask the forum’s advice on the FACETS on a SM300 case lugs . I have done a search for a similar faceted case lugs but haven’t found any similar. Case does not look polished.

Reference in the caseback is engraved 166024 rather than stamped .

thank you for looking.

best

I *think* the term often used to describe this lug style is "twisted", at least when talking about Speedmaster and Seamaster cases (as opposed to straight lugs). So maybe using that in your search will yield more results.

My searched was on 166.024 . I use case refs instead of lug description..

thank you

I'm just a beginner on SM300 but this is the first time I see these king fo facets (Like the CB facets on -65 Speedmasters) on one of them.
So my guess it that the case in the current condition is not original

The whole watch looks like the parts are a strange kind of mixture so if you intend to buy it be very careful.

Me too first time i see faceted case, hence my question to the forum
why does this case have FACETS?

is it service case? Is it fake case?
