Apologies if this is not the correct manner in going about this. Below are some pictures of my Speedmaster Snoopy Edition. I am now looking to sell this, but was not sure what I should be expecting in terms of value. I saw one for sale recently in London for a little over £7,000. Perhaps someone on here may be able to help?

I know values for these have risen over the past couple of years but £7000 is fekkin ridiculous.
If you bought it new then ask what you paid for it + 10%.

If it was a dealer then take a chunk of overheads off. Check sold recently on eBay and should give you a yardstick to go by.

Think that is a bit high but others will know more.

The Omega Classic Boutique in the Burlington Arcade have one up for £5,900 - which to my mind is strong.

    It's been there a while...

These can be had for about £3800 - 4500 depending on seller etc. Box, cards and certificate are vital for this piece.

The watch when it was released was £1550 iirc.

There was one on ebay a while back for $10k which was ridiculous.

Indeed, rumors are a new Snoopy Speedmaster is likely to hit in 2015. If so, I think it will keep current Snoopy prices flat, or down just a tick. I've always been a bit surprised with these Snoopy's, I love Snoopy as much as the next guy, and I think the NASA Silver Snoopy award connection with Apollo XIII brings value to the piece.... On the flipside, its a high production run watch (5441 pieces), and the 9 o'clock Snoopy register and Snoopy emblem on the caseback are a little plain really. Still OP will make a ton selling this watch, I'd do it sooner rather than later. I see these really sell for around $5500 and up depending on condition and completeness of B&P.

I had the option of a Snoopy or a Moonwatch as a 21st Birthday present back in 2002 - the Snoopy was £100 more than the Moonwatch.

I was bought (by my parents) the Moonwatch - the Snoopy was cool in it's way, but felt a bit too silly for a 21st Birthday present...

One just sold on Ebay, Jan 15, for £3666 . I was hoping to pick it up for around £3000 but there was a last minute frenzy and I bailed.

Thanks for your views on this. Looks like the other half may have to wait a while before I sell and pop the question to her.

If you are waiting because you are going to buy a ring, to be traditional, don't.

De beers literally made that one up. The gifting of rings to signify an engagement was almost unknown before de beers came along, and made it up to sell all those tons of diamonds.

Everyone who buys an engagement ring thinking its a tradition, is operating under the most successful advertising fallacy ever perpetrated....

Might as well give her the watch. .........
