I vote for constellation cal 561 , too. It is bit polished and the crown is not right, but most collectible among the 4. Expect the end price go beyond USD 900.
The Constellation is the most original watch of the group, decent piece. The others all have problems of one degree or another.
Thanks for the thoughts, everyone. In reality I'm looking for something I can actually wear and aesthetically I'm more drawn to the Seamaster Deville. Can you elaborate on some of things you looked for when you looked at these? Why does that other Seamaster look so clean, for example? Is it a straight up copy?
A Seamaster DeVille was my second vintage Omega, and I do agree that they are aesthetically pleasing in an understated way. Here's mine, Case # 165.020, with a Caliber 550, on a 1037 bracelet. Total cost was about $600 ($450 for the watch and $150 for the bracelet): While I do enjoy the watch, I sometimes wish that I spent a little bit more I could have gotten a c-case Constellation.
