Have been proposed this ... At 500€ but needs a big clean, or should I say huge revision. Worth it or not??

Do you think it will be worth it? Or actually what do you mean by worth it? Worth having it fixed? Worth the buying price plus whatever repair costs you need when compared to the price of a perfect unrestored example? Have you seen state of the movement? Do you know a price range for these in various states of condition?
Have you got a watchmaker who has an Omega parts account or are you thinking of sending it to Omega?

Your question raises many more questions that only you can answer.

But to answer your most base question, for me, no, at €500 it wouldn't be worth it to try to fix that up. It looks like a money pit that was possibly sitting on the seabed for a good while before being dredged up in a trawlers net.

My thoughts exactly. I'd hate to see it stay in it's current condition, but I'm guessing it's going to be expensive to repair. When it's all done could you sell it for the purchase price plus what it costs to repair? I have no idea.

If you know the seller it would be cool if they would let you take it and have it looked at by a professional.

That movement is going to be toast if the dial's that rotten, definitely needs one of everything and at that price there's no point.

Is it the watch you've always wanted? My project watches have always cost more to restore than a good working example.
