I am looking to purchase my first vintage Omega. Should I get an Omega WWW or an Omega 2169. Both are on eBay and the same price of $1000. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I didn't even look, but I'd be very suspicious of an Omega WWW for $1k.

One place to look would be the listings at mwrforum.net. You can also research prices there. Obviously the price will depend on condition.

The first one is definetely a redial, that period watches had radium lume which should turn brownish through ages. The second one's dial is very suspicious to, as to my experience there shouldn't be a swiss made on the dial of 2169. Also the colour of Omega logo should be near the same as the markers' one,in this case Omega logo is way brighter and is almost white. Comparing to other 2169s from the net I can mention that there should be a circle with minute markes around arabic numerals, on the second watch is missing.
