    Hello all,

First post here, so be gentle on me

I've been looking to buy my first vintage omega. I really like the seamaster and I have found one which is quite far away from me but I am willing to travel to purchase it. I have some doubts and questions about this.

    -Does this watch look genuine?
-Seller states that the crown is stiff however it does not affect time adjusting, is this okay or a warning signal?
-Do the parts look like they have been exchanged?
-How does the conditional overall look?
-Any other advice for me when I go to look at the watch?

    Thanks so much

Looks original but something is wonky about the movement, looks put together. Shouldn't be a chronometer rated movement as far as I know. I would avoid.

To each his own. I find this to be a very bland, non-descript Omega with a lot of corrosion on the hands and markers. Their are tons of alternatives. Connies, Speedies, Devilles, Geneves. Did you check those out?
So, I wouldn't buy. Hard to flip when you no longer want it. And it all depends on the price most importantly. Pray tell.

Looks like eccentric is dragging on the case back.

Minute and hour hand look a bit too long (and wrong)

The auto winding bridge surely doesn't belong to this cal. 552, it came from a different movement.
