The listing claims an original bezel but it looks like a service bezel to me. How bady does this affect the value of the watch and is there anything else about it which looks good or is otherwise suspicious?

you can tell the service bezel not by the inset but by the carrier the knurling is different, much more frequent notches

 

Thanks guys - I thought as much. And yet the seller seems to be aware of this and makes a point in the listing that this is an original bezel despite the higher notch count...

So did the 'diver' bezel exist as a separate part from the 'pilot' bezel?

 

you can sometimes find original bezels/carrier as a part.
