Came across to this Seamaster with cal. 564. It's not rare, but uncommon. Everything seems fine, but I'm new to the hobby, definitely need advice from the experts here. My main concern is on the originality of the dial, and the movement too. And it comes with the price tag of $800.

    Thank you. :) 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg 8.jpg 9.jpg

That one is IMO good. Good price. I even see a original omega plexi. With a BOR it's a steel.

Thanks Shabbaz! Every nerve of mine urging me to get it. The price is good, the case is good, the BOR is amazing, the silver turned champagne colour dial just hit my point, etc. Just not so sure about the movement, does it look good in your opinion?

I think I came across to your Seamaster when I was doing my research on this forum, such a great looking watch you have!

I dont see anything strange. But then again, I'm no movement expert... You should budget a service anyway but referencenumber is ok, cal is ok, rotor has more or less the same color as the movement so I would suggest to pull the trigger.

Seems like a deal to me. Better not tell us where you found it til you’ve bought it.

Got it and have it checked by my watchmaker, amazingly this 50 years old watch is running strong and keeping good time. No service is needed at the moment. The ex-owner treated this watch very very well! Love it!

Thousand thanks to all the teachers here! :)

Found a non-rated variant at a pawn shop last year, but the owner was insistent on $800 (I'd offered $600).

    You did well.
