·Hi everyone,
I'm pretty new to shopping for vintage bracelets and I found one on eBay that I believe will fit my watch, a vintage Omega 1036 18mm BoR bracelet with #11 endlinks.
The bracelet looks pretty good to me from pictures, a vintage one, a bit scratched up but this is to be expected I believe.
The only area where I started to have doubts was the picture from the clasp where we can read the bracelet reference, we can read from left to right: "(30) STAINLESS STEEL 1036" and then the Omega logo, that seems normal from others I found online but the (30) almost overlaps the STAINLESS STEEL text.
My only question, because I don't have a lot of experience with bracelets from that era is, is it possible that this stuff happened on OEM bracelets or is this proof that it might be fake?
Thanks in advance!
