    This is my first post to this forum and wanted some advice about this watch under consideration. Seller says "Everything on this watch is in the original condition other than the strap and is in good condition". It's a 1961 caliber 268 movement. Case size 34mm and lug width 18mm. Attached are the few photos I have. What would be a good ballpark value?

    Hi,

    Case is a little soft. If you wanted a gold-plated watch then I'd consider shelling out $400-$600 on it depending on how much you really want it. Dial is nice, case is soft, lume is not particularly pretty, and it's not a rare watch by any means.

    What is the asking price?

    Yeah, it's a bit much for an otherwise ordinary watch and at 34mm won't have such great wrist presence. I think with the manual wind 2xx series it's awesome when you find a 36mm version. Here is my 2937:

    Does'nt this depend on the wrist? I think 34mm can have great wrist presence...

    $ 600 is a bit on the high side though... It's more like a $ 300/350 omega..

    I'm all for 34mm don't get me wrong. I just really like the 36mm on these manual wind watches, which typically lay a bit more flat against the wrist. :)

    34mm all the way. :D
