Hello Omega community,

I'm new on forum and would like to have an advice on this Seamaster 300 ref. 165.024 if all parts are correct.
As per my observation, the bezel seems not original.
Is it difficult to find the parts to replace for this ref.?
Thank you

.

Sorry to be rude and direct, but are you trying to ask members of the forum if this fake is good enough to start selling?

Only the movement is Omega on this watch, most likely not originally from a SM300.

Fake or Franken? The caseback seems to be original (for a "no-date").

No, not even the caseback is original.

Can you pls explain why you have come to this conclusion (for learning purposes) … I have compared to the examples shown on omegaseamaster300.com and do not see some conspicuity.

I can recommend to have a look inside the caseback. The pictures are not the best, but should give an idea. I don’t want to be secretive, but not also shout out all the telltales to fakers either. In this case I believe this watch would not be bought based on its caseback alone. 😀

Ok, got it and agree … my question regarding the caseback was separated from the other parts of the watch 😉. It is unbelievable when you look at the offers across the net how many of them seems to be mixed with parts from different time periods or original and replacement parts.

If bezel is fake, which it is, then the case is fake as well. Fake bezel cannot fit on the original case and vice verse.

Yes, and there’s a lot of telltales of this being an absolute fake case.
