I apologize I’m still learning the language of watches, but where the stem enters the movement - is that rust or just debris? I’d imagine this would need a service and a full overhaul to get to working condition. It’s from a 49-52 omega seamaster 2576 sub second. Btw if someone could estimate a price I shouldn’t go over seeing the condition of the movement. Crown is not correct but I know a watchmaker could get a period correct crown.

That is rust! Not only there, but several other places that show readily. There is a very real chance that there is also rust in a lot of places not readily obvious! If you haven’t bought it, I suggest that you don’t. If you have bought it, that really is too bad. Add the purchase price of the watch to the cost of repairs, and it is hardly worth your while.

Asking what’s a price you shouldn’t go over with only a rusted movement shot, well your answer is going to be $4.83

What’s the front of the watch look like ?
