Sometimes you feel like a bracelet, sometimes you don't ... Many vintage watches I come across do not have bracelets and sourcing them is challenging so I snagged a lot of NOS vintage aftermarket In some cases the ends look passable Others are fair to middling Some leave me wondering
you should be careful with these spring loaded end links as they tend to grind the inner side of the lugs over time!
Good advice Mac, these are more of a stop gap as the search for proper bracelets continues, sometimes I get lucky!
Understand, though this one is 14K I know, looks like Michael Strahan's watch I'll keep hunting for a curved end BOR, wish me luck!
Bidding on 2 GP curved end BOR now, an 18mm for the SM and a 19mm for the Connie, maybe I'll get lucky? Last few I've seen went over $140 and $150, even saw a SS go for $100 recently!
I do hear you! If, however, it is a watch you're going to keep forever and you have the funds... just buy the damned thing! Tom
Which Connie? The 14381 above has 18mm lug width. Your C-cases have 19mm, but the normal BOR ends won't fit them.
I do have both Connies but let me win one of the BOR then sort the end links, at least those are only $60 from Otto Frei Back on the straps for now, freaky Friday show is over, except for the mesh on my 14k seamaster I'll let that ride for the weekend . . .
