Hi All, just came by this '67' speedy. Looked clean enough so had to add it to the family. Unfortunately came without the bezel but now rectified. Just wanted to know any thought regarding the hour markers. Is it just that the lume has degraded and brushed out on a service?. Strange the '12' marker is in tact.
I'm sure the hands have been changed out but are showing slight age now. I also will need a flat foot crown at some stage. IMG_3884.JPG IMG_3885_LI.jpg IMG_3887.JPG IMG_3888.JPG IMG_3899.JPG

Congrats. Saw this one floating around, but it looked like the seller was asking a pretty high price at the time that I saw it. Yes, the lume is missing from all plots except the 12 o'clock marker. Between that, the service replacement hands, and missing DON bezel, it would be a decent investment to get this back to a fully correct state. I would get the dial relumed.

Luckily a bit of haggling brought the price right down. Enough to warrant a reasonable bezel.
Just trying it out with a 1035 but the jury's out on that one. Seems a bit flimsy for purpose but have been used to a 1171 on my -69.
