So there I was, trawling in the murky depths of ebay when I spotted this: The ad said "yellow copper dial" - yup, looks real yellow, too yellow for my liking, even accounting for the over exposed picture. Was going to give it a miss when I saw this: Been looking for a really nice flagship 340 caseback for a while, I think I can live with a YG example in such good nick and the diamonds don't seem too in your face - dialed in a snipe and said a short prayer. Won it with a fairly low bid! Watch arrived late yesterday - you should have seen the incredulous big grin on my face when this greeted me! So glad it turned up RG instead! The tone is lighter compared to my other RG 290 and 341. In the flesh Never have I been so glad when a watch doesn't match up with the ad! Thanks for looking!
Love the bad color balanced photos in some seller's listings. It works the other way many times though - YG looks pinkish. Nice score!
Nice trio! I do agree with you: only that caseback worth your interest... If that is improved but this unexpected surprise, the better. Watch is really nice.
