I've been 'collecting' watches for approximately 10 years now, with the most of my relatively modest collection costing £450 (that was until last Sunday when I spontaneously purchased a SMP, 2226.80.00 ). I intend flipping some of my collection to part fund this but was wondering if others who are/have been in a similar boat to me, have then ceased looking/acquiring when their first grail has been sought. ..or whether the addiction to peruse, research, chase and add continues?

Don't worry! This watch will satisfy all your horological needs and you won't even think about getting another one! That irrational compulsion to acquire more and more watches has been well and truly met and now it's gone away never to trouble you again, trust me.

These days I seem to need a new watch at least once a week :)

Now that you have spent more on a watch, the door just opened and you will find yourself looking at pieces at a much higher price range.

Hey dude, way to take a fairly lighthearted post and put a quasi-depressing, reality-check medical spin on it...
