Just closing off the story with happy confirmation that we made it to our 20th year married and 29th together. Anniversary presents have been handed over and both of us are thrilled 😀

I feel your pain! I got my '57 (with bracelet) two months ago because it was a good price. It's for my 60th birthday on November 30th! Been wearing it about the house each night (to keep it wound of course 😉), but wifey let me wear it out for the first time last night to go to the OB and compare it with one with the tan leather strap and deployant clasp like the one you have on yours. I'm getting that for my birthday too. 😁 (The strap and clasp, not the whole watch!)
