The Belgian artist became known after his name was revealed during the Apollo 16 launch as the man who created & designed the small Aluminium figurine of a " Fallen Astronaut "... which was left on the Moon in August 1971 by Apollo 15 commander David Scott.
I had the privilege to meet Paul several times and to visit his atelier & garden near Antwerp... what an artist, what a man... RIP !
