Thanks to Achim (watchyouwant) my 2998-62 is no longer suffering from the SH-syndrome! I´m really glad you made the effort to move those alpha-hands from your watchmaker, out to the ones in need!
That's because you don't need one, I made a mistake. A spear hand is quite correct for a -62. (sorry!) lovely watch by the way
Ha, ha! You remember that one! This was back in 2008 or so, there was a space event in London taking place, and there were some old astronauts present. Not Armstrong, but Aldrin was, and some others too. When I was a kid, I grew up being neighbour to some of Aldrin´s Swedish relatives, so I thought it would be cool to have a Omega box signed by him. He charged 100 GBP for the favour, so it was not at all for free

...that loss somehow feels significantly lighter to bear with a 2915 now on my arm... ...just kidding, it has a much better home in that Aldrin-box with you!
Too true. i have couple of chrono hands spare.......although I am concerned they are 1mm short on the tail. And I have experienced the dull ache caused by staring at an incorrectly appointed watch. I would help someone out of that anytime I could.
