    Accutron watch with textured gold dial with date. Uses the 2192 tuning fork movement. Fully working and in excellent condition with no significant marks or wear. Brushed and polished original finishes still present on bezel, case etc. Dated 1977 (N7), looking good for 40 years old. Diameter around 38mm excluding crown, 18mm lug width Will be supplied with new battery. Sale should be considered final.

    Price £200 delivered within EU, elsewhere by negotiation

    Sadly I think you are right. I didn't see anything with the naked eye and have worn it without noticing anything but under a loupe there is definitely something amiss right on the edge there and as you suggest something looks not quite right on the pictures when blown up. I will withdraw this and get it looked at by the appropriate specialist.

    For the price you are asking and the condition of the rest of the watch I suggest you just note it and let the buyer fix it.

    Well yes I could do that of course. If anyone wants to make me an offer on it as is then please do so and I will of course consider it but I am aware that being less than perfect may put many off. I will un-withdraw it but make any prospective buyer aware and obviously leave the comments here as a pointer. If it doesn't sell then I will sort it myself.
