Does anyone have a collection of JLC buckles they could share— maybe could even make an ‘About JLC buckles’ thread.
    Would be very helpful! :D

I have some vintage JLC buckles but no watch for it :(
Interesting is that most of them are 14mm instead of the standard 16mm.

Lots of old straps were 18->15 or 14mm so small buckles are not uncommon. On top of this, quite a few vintage JLC take 16mm straps.

Some US LeCoultre buckles are as small as 13mm. Very difficult to find modern watchbands to fit.

    Here’s a 14mm JLC I picked up years ago:

That looks great. I actually prefer 18mm -> 14mm tapers. I have a few straps that I got made from the Vietnam seller on etsy.

I was mostly wondering if the same companies that made Omega buckles (AW— posted above, MG, EK, etc) also made JLC buckles. Its a tall order to ask for examples of each but I’m sure someone has them. :D

    Mine’s an AW.

With respect to the American LeCoultre buckles, the same manufacturer made these buckles for Longines, Hamilton, GP and several others. They came in gold-filled (no hallmark), 14K and 18K.

    Hope this helps,
