Any issues with this. Not familiar with these early El Pimentos https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Ze...610971?hash=item215d3404db:g:ZR0AAOSwq3xdBpZJPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
the case is whole deal with these. that is the worst polishing job i've seen for an a787. stay away. you want an unpolished one
i think its already overpriced few good pics here on what these are supposed to look like http://thoughts.onthedash.com/thoughts/el-primero-cheat-sheet/
I honestly don't think it is so bad after all. And I won't be so sure to say firmly "you want an unpolished one". Well.. maybe? According to prices, of course.
i disagree but that's what makes a market. on lots of cases light polish makes little/no difference IMO. . on this one the shape and brushing are absolutely what makes the watch special. i would say the same thing about an a3817/a3818. but to each his own. . .
Case is polished. The overall shape is still present, perhaps a competant watchmaker can salvage it. The starting price is easily worth it for the rest of the parts alone.
I don't know how far I would go past the starting point, but agree with Wristpirate, if you could get it for starting bid, I think we all jump on it despite case condition.
Well someone bid on it. Seems like a good price. Not everyone is looking for collector grade watches. I’m lucky I have no interest and stick to the non chrono Zeniths
Went for $2900 and change. I think it was a decent buy for someone to wear, but as previously discussed, case is not collector condition.
