Post COA pictures

pre COA picture showing the internal lug bevels and the movement

A joy to wear, and a perfectly styled, low profile, vintage JB Champion NOS strap to protect it while on the wrist. "No metal can touch your skin!" I think it straddles the line well between sporty-dressy just as Zenith intended with their esthetic design.

And after last night......

I think these A386's have graduated to the Big Boy table.

Thanks again to LouS for his pioneering research.

Besides the service hands, anything I missed? Comments appreciated.

amazing case and amazing dial! as you already pointed out service hands-set and slightly later crown (the correct one has still the same star but it is slightly bigger and especially the circle that is aroud the star is slightly larger). Your crown is the same as the one of the example sold by Phillips, also not 100% correct, but still much better IMHO than the later 70's service crowns with the inverted star.
You did not post pics of the caseback but it should have a star engraved on it, being a MKIII.
Overall a great piece, wear it in good health!

Incredible watch, condition is amazing, just beautiful. Well done Tex!
I know of at least one U.K. OF member who鈥檒l be drooling on his Cornflakes when he sees this at breakfast time on Saturday morning.

All the best

really who? If it is possible to say. There is currently what seems a very very nice MKI for 25k EUR here in Europe, probably with at leas a little room for negotation ( I imagine that I dont know for sure, I haven't ask as I already thankfully own one!). 30k+ USD or EUR?

agree. the philips one was very good but i dare say polished and wrong crown
if i were offered a perfect unpolished one at 25k eur i think its a buy myself
then again. . maybe best is go buy a great a3817, a3818, or a384 / a385 which now look truly absurdly underpriced
