Looks all correct to me. Quite unnerving lol, usually something is off. Perhaps even a rare divers extension in the clasp of the GF bracelet. Nice honest example.
Do you think that the hands are relumed ? They don't seem to match like other a386 I've seen online..
I would say an all correct and proper example if a MKII. rare these days to see an all correct one. Hour and minute hand MIGHT have been relumed or perhaps they didn't and just come from a different watch, but hard to say. On these A386s often the lume of the dial ages differently to the lume on the hands... I would not worry too much in this case given the overall watch and the fact that it seems overall and in good conditions (not excellent but good for sure). Does anyone know how much is the ask?
lots of a386s poppping up recently maybe the higher prices inducing people to sell its amazing to me how much easier it is to find a good a386 vs a3817 or a3818 this one looked nice https://www.chrono24.com/zenith/el-primero-chronograph-a386--id7206430.htm
Well, crown is wrong, hour and minute hands look to be replacement, case is over polished and serial number is no longer visible... not sure I would chose this one... You are correct about rarity of A3817 and A3818 though...
Sorry wrong chrono 24 link! Let me find the right one Can't remember seeing 6 at the same time though like ever
yep agree that A386s are popping up a lot recently, probably the high value indeed induces sellers to sell. It is relatively rare but at 2500 pieces built is not super rare. Also agree A3817 and A3818 are way more difficult to find...
