They're US case not Swiss case, but three 18K White Gold DeVilles?

    Wonder what the story is

Don't know if they are brokering a collection or just purchased a bunch of nice vintage stuff, but take a look at some of the other things that this seller has for sale:

A couple of cases and a lot of Omega signed crystals are there also.

Someone must have had a fetish for 18K Seamaster Devilles. The "Asprey" dialled example is interesting. That's a British store selling an American cased watch? Maybe they had a US branch back then? They do now.

A couple of these will go into my "watch" list.

I know the Constellation case isn't good. Which other ones are bad in your opinion?

Are the WG Deville cases suspect or just his others? It'd explain a lot if they were being manufactured

The cases look legit but they're not models I have focused on. However if even just one item for sale is a fake makes the other items suspect and personally makes me want to stay away.

Experience shows that there will always be another one just around the corner.

Anyone can be fooled once. If I start seeing multiple fakes, I run the other way.

I just though I was missing something here.

Does anyone else find it odd for a white gold case to have yellow figures and hands? Yes, its not that uncommon on a ss case but with the great premium for the18K wg it seems strange.

Also something is clearly amiss with this one...

Black, rusty hands on this one as well.

I'm not liking this seller so much anymore.

Mike and Gator are right to be suspicious. I suspect that all the cases are 6610 in the white gold, and of course case 6610 housed the cal 560. Both the Ross stamp and the Omega symbol look wrong to me. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the cases were fake. I suspect all are frankens at best.

I posted a rant about eBay shill bidding a few weeks ago and the source of my frustration was this very same seller. And the watch was the quadrant dial now relisted. I am not surprised to see it again. I wouldn't touch a listing from this seller with a 10 foot pole.
