Yep. Within 24 hours of buying my first Omega, I had already bought two more! and not even a Speedie, yet, so..[emoji6]
That is an amazing collection. How do you decide what to wear. I have 8 and am thinking about downsizing
Absolutely, the most important public service announcement ever posted on Omega Forums. This needs to be stickied !!!! Unfortunately, too late to help me, but if this saves even 1 person from this addiction, then it served its purpose. Doc - your collection is amazing and I know that pic doesn't show some of the more stunning pieces (e.g. the Aventurine, the Grey Side, ...).
Downsizing? Are you sure you're in the right place? With eight you can wear one each day with two on Sunday.
And your point? All I see are new grails to shoot for...That's not addiction, its the thrill of the hunt. Yeah, I can stop this anytime; done it a hundred times before; I don't need all these or those watches.... Well, maybe just a one or two more for the road...and then off to my WIS Anonymous meeting...
What's the square one at the back? Reason being, I sent this thread to my wife saying "I could be worse ;-)" and she replied... "Good golly. That said, I like the square one in the back." So to me that sounds like both permission and encouragement!
Stunning! So ... How do you store those babies? Assuming it's not the 'stuff in sock drawer until needed' system ...
The watches themselves are always easy to store, a small safe deposit box at the bank fits a huge number, the problem is that you end up with a wardrobe full of boxes and paperwork
Don't get me wrong, I love my Omegas but thinking about adding Patek and worry that I will be like superdoc and have too many watches and not enough time to wear. Here is my family pic but does not include snoopy and DSOM.
Amazing watches all! but there is something about winding the things in the morning that I like, most in these pics are auto's. Don't get me wrong I would have any of them... ian
