·Initially, when I first set out on my 75 minutes drive to look at this, my whole hearted intention, initially, was to purchase it and immediately offer it to someone here on OF. I viewed this package as as something that NEEDED to remain in the OF family.
The seller informed me that a woman, who appeared to be in her seventies walked into his store to sell it. It belonged to her late husband who was the original owner. The outer box was quite worn so I didn’t get my hopes up.
So as I have been on record stating my grail constellation is a rose gold deluxe. I have been on somewhat of spending spree lately so I have sworn off more watch purchases for the time being. This was solely to be bought and brought home to the family. Not for me. Not going to keep it. Nope.
That went out the window as soon as I opened the box.
Here is all the accessories in all there glory!
Finally, here she is on the wrist:
The stain you see near 1 o’clock marker is actually in the crystal and not the dial thank God. I’m not sure how the crystal got stained like that. Looks like maybe ash from a cigarette? Bracelet, according to @JwRosenthal and @seekingseaquest was produced for a very short period of time as these usually came on BORs. Thank you to both of you by the way for letting me bend your ear in my excitement with questions and inquiries.
So there you have it. I decided to keep it. Blame @JwRosenthal he talked me out of it
