Have the good fortune to get to know a Swedish friend and collector here on the forum and then add a couple of these 30t2s recently. These 2400s aka Suverans do not seem to get the same love as the Connies, Seamasters or Speedmasters on the forum. I have always been looking to add different dial variations to build a sub theme in my small collection and am grateful to this friend here who help me build a small family in this sub theme. Show us your Suverans if you have them!

Ah, now I know who snagged that nice two-tone from Marturx a few weeks ago. Nice collection! Do you have a wrist shot?

One of the most attractive vintage watches by Omega. I suppose their relative scarceness accounts for the lack of mass-interest like Sea/Speedmasters and Connie's? Also, are they a bit small for contemporary tastes? That bodes well for admirers!

The Suverän is awsome! Really nice watches with a lot of history, and they're not that expensive.

It was just a pleasure, Gavin, to help you out in building that family of Suverans :)

I really like the 40ies Omega, it´s something very appealing in their simplicity and design. From a collectors point of view they are also nice items to collect, since they are still priced at reasonable levels (I´m not refering to the chronos now!)

Here´s my pawnshop find that I´m especially pleased with, since it cost me petty money to pick up, and I think it is one of the best I´ve had! collecting at its best! :)

Knowing what I know about pawn shops and how they mostly under-value steel watches: "Pretty money" or pretty "little" money ;-)

    Thanks guys.

I did not get that one. Was interested although it wasn't a Suveran. And a wristshots.

Here is mine, similar to, yet different in many ways from Northernman's example above.
