That's lovely. Interesting that they lumed the black indices rather than go for a full lume dial, although that probably gives it a cleaner white appearance.

Thanks! I'm glad they didn't make the whole dial glow. That's be waaaay too much lume ha!

Yeah, I previously owned the Damasko DA37 with the full dial lume, and while it was a neat feature, in the end it was mostly a gimmick and it gave the dial a slightly yellow tint all the time except in the brightest sunlight.

I also really like the looks of the deployant clasp and have been thinking about getting one for my 556i. How do you like it? If you have any other deployants (Hirsch, Omega, etc), how does it compare?

I've used the Sinn deployant on all of my Sinns in the past with the exception of the u1. It's a nice price of machinery available in 3 different finishes. It's nice, and fits with the aesthetics

It's nice while it lasts but the life is short. Lasts about as long as my new rolex so I guess that's par for the course

Same with my black dial 556i. Looks great at first, but gone rather quickly, particularly when compared to my Seiko and Omegas.

I don't think Seiko has anything on Sinn. They make too many models for my taste and Omega is playing in a different price bracket. Sinn is just fine for what it is

I've had four Sinns. You can't beat them for the money, IMO.

I was just agreeing with you about the lume. The lume on my Orange Monster or SKX007 buries the Sinn, but a) those are dive watches and b) I like everything else about my Sinn better. And like you said, comparing the lume on a ~$1000 Sinn to a $3000 Omega or Tudor is not necessarily fair.

I like it! I thought about buying one but ended up going with a Nomos instead.

You were gonna buy a 556 Weiss or a 556I? The Weiss is hard to find but not impossible, the I's and A's can be had every day.

It's a nice watch, interesting brand
