    Looks like a Tavannes 834/836 family. At 8.75''' the movement is only 19.7mm in diameter.
    Not really a functional item of jewellry, unless it's just for the boyfriend or husband to keep track of time by.

    I thought these were typically worn upside down by nurses so they could see the time and still use their hands... but maybe they come in a lot of variations?
