Apologies if this question has already been asked before but I am new to quality watches and have never worn a watch with a metal bracelet before. I am close to buying a seamaster 300 and I was wondering if it is possible to get a snug fit from the bracelet? Does it adjust nice and tight? Many of the photos i see of people wearing these type of watches have them loose on their wrist and I hate loose fitting watches. Sorry if this is a stupid question I just don't want to fork out this much for a watch i then have to put a leather strap on.
Bracelets are adjustable - you can either remove links to find the right fit, or adjust the clasp position - so most of the people you see wearing them loosely are just doing so because of preference. In my own experience though, it's best to leave a small bit of room as bracelet fit on my wrist isn't consistent through the day.
As said you can take out both half links and whole links on the SM300 and it has an adjustable clasp. I have both the bracelet and the leather strap. The strap and deployment clasp cost 254 pounds, but is does give your watch a different look. It is quite a heavy watch on the wrist so the leather strap takes away some of the weight which is nice.
The clasp has a sliding mechanism. I am not sure how precise it is compared to other watch brands but I like it as my wrist size changes throughout the day.
