I don't have better pics, but I am interested in whatever anyone can share about this piece. Screen Shot 2016-09-02 at 4.49.32 PM.png Screen Shot 2016-09-02 at 4.49.11 PM.png

I think it is a Heuer 2403, powered by a Valjoux cal 22.

What do you guys think about this piece? Anyone have any experience with similar watches? Are they worth considering or are they so difficult to parts-source that it would be cost prohibitive to make it a functional wearer? (No idea on the condition of the watch other than that it "runs a short time"), no movement pics available.)

    Any other thoughts appreciated...

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Looks like a valjoux 22, you can get the parts easily.

But nowadays there are a lot of fake "heuer cal.22 or 23 out there"

I would buy only if everything is marked heuer(dial, case and chrono bridge)

I have seen a few of the fake one-push buttons out there, and articles on them, but not many of the two buttons. Are fakes a widespread problem with them as well?

Already at $900 with 2 days to go.....would be nice to see a movement shot at least.

I have a similar watch, though it's gold capped and the case is likely in worse condition.

The valjoux 22 is an absolute champ of a movement. Mine was serviced relatively cheaply and parts were not a problem.
