They do have rather large crowns hence the nickname "Big Crown." Mine blue one is currently at the watchmaker for a service which is going on 6 months now. I'm going to have to get on him now. Thanks for the reminder!
They are on the small side for a dive watch (37mm), and the crown is beefy a little beyond normal proportion, but wearable. In solidarity:
I had a blue Seamaster 60, but gave it away as thanks for the assistance I got, when I bought a car! Now I feel that I want to replace it....
Here they are with a quick shot of my current daily Speedmaster. Although the seamasters are small, they wear well. And the dials are wonderful. The burgundy one cost a fraction (an eighth) of the blue one. Such is watch collecting. A burgundy one sold last year at Antiquorum for over $4000, with a damaged bezel and badly marked crystal. It looked like some one was wearing it when they fell off a bike. And the backsides:
